1. Lower thermal expansion and higher dimensional stability than aluminum
The 5.7×10-6/°C of FUTABA’s CFRP Plate vs. 23.8×10-6/°C of aluminum means Futaba’s CFRP PlLATE is much less affected by temperature change in the operating environment.
2. Lightweight at half the weight of aluminum
The 1.3 of Futaba’s CFRP PLATE vs. 2.68 of aluminum (A5052) means for equivalent size, the weight is nearly halved, making it easy to carry.
3. Lower infrared reflectance than black anodized aluminum.
Compared to black anodized aluminum products, those made of Futaba’s CFRP PLATE maintain lower reflectance over a broader range of wavelengths. (See the figures below.)
